Revision Timetables

Constructing weekly timetables

Allocating time for revision:

  1. Work out how many days there are until the first exam.
  2. Decide on how many days you can revise.
  3. Work out how many hours a day you are going to spend revising.
  4. Allocate the total number of hours available across the subjects.
  5. Allocate the number of hours you have for each subject across the different topics you need to revise.

You can now construct a weekly timetable. You can follow one of two approaches to construct a weekly timetable:

  • You can create timetables on a week-by-week basis (eg each Sunday for the week ahead)
  • You can create all the weekly timetables at the same time

Tip! Set aside 15-30 minutes every day to review topics that you have already revised.
